BR11: Goodbye Mr Hollywood

She smiled at Nick. ‘Can I call you “Mr Hollywood” too?’ (p. 6)

 I read "Goodbye Mr Hollywood". The story is interesting. Nick is a magazine reporter, so he thought he buy someone's grudge. But, the killer is mistaken that he was Mr. Hollywood. I thought it is terrible to make mistakes. Also, Nick believed her because she was so pretty. After the accident he almost died, he was careful of beautiful women. The inner side is more important than the outside. I thought I shall be careful of the first person I meet.

BR10: The Witches of Pendle

I wasn't a witch; I was a child, nine years old, and I hated my mother and all her friends! (p. 20)

  I read "The Witches of Pendle.  When I hear 'Witch', I recalled a fairy story. But, it is a cruel story, and probably it is a real story. In the past, there were witch hunt and trial. I thought witches are only human. It was accidental for some people to die. Jannet was afraid of her mother and her friends, and people in the village were afraid of her too. So, they wanted some reasons to expel them. The opportunity was just witch hunt! I thought grudge is so terrible.

BR9: Mutiny on the Bounty

'Well, he was a good sailor, of course. We were angry with him, but I can't remember why. It's a very long time ago...' (p.39)

 I read "Mutiny on the Bounty". The story is true story. I thought  the captain Bligh is severe with his sailors, but he is right. On the other hand, Fletcher Christian is wrong. Why they rose the mutiny? I don't know. However, I guess that probably the mutiny rose because of their feeling temporary. I was often angry without any reasons. After that, I think why I would get angry. This may be the same. The book made me think that turning a bit too sentimental is bad. It is important to preserve my calmness.

BR8: Stories of Courage

"If i don't run again," she said "I will die." (p. 3)

I read "Stories of Courage". The book is stories on eight person. Especially, I was moved by the first story. The person is a famous runner in Cuba. She want to be fast runner. She practices hard, so she can be the fastest girl in Cuba! However, one day, her bodies were covered with fire. She was carried her hospital at soon. Her doctors said she couldn't run, but she never gave up. She worked hard to run faster again. So, she could run and won the silver medal at Olympic Games. I thought she is great! If I were her, I would be disappointed and want to die. I want to be stronger as her.
