BR7: Heidi

「longman classics heidi」の画像検索結果 Clara took one slow step, then another, then another. "I can do it, Heidi, I can do it!" she cried. "I'm walking!"(p.50)

I read “Heidi” for the first time. I knew a little about it. However, I was surprised when I read it. First,   Heidi is not real name. Her name is Adelheid which is same name with her mother.  Also, she was not from Switzerland but Frankfurt. Second, I thought her grandfather is grim as people in the village, but he is so kind to Heidi. He looks real her father! Third, I had ever watched scene Clare can stand and walk, but the story is different. Peter envies Clara and he break her wheelchair, which makes her sad. Heidi helps her walk with Peter. Then, she can walk! It moved me! I want to watch the movie.

BR6: The Secret Garden

"This is my secret garden," (p. 30)

「The secret garden Longman」の画像検索結果If you were hated by your parents and other people, do you think?

If you knew you were beloved, do you think you can live alone.

I thought I couldn't live alone. When once I was beloved of many people, I believe the love and I don't want to make them disappoint. So, I'll be hard whether I am bad or not. Sometimes, I want to go where anyone don't know to forget a bad thing. I felt a tinge of envy for Mary. I want to have the secret garden. If I have it, I plant many flowers and trees, and set a table and some chairs to have a tea. The place may be a quiet and relaxing apace. I can forget something and do wonders for my mind.

BR5: The President's Murderer

「The president's Murderer」の画像検索結果'I'm not afraid of the President's murderer. You can stay here tonight, Alex Dinon, and have a good sleep. I don't like the police, and I'm not going to tell them.' (p. 10)

I read  "The President's Murderer". It is mystery story and it is so interesting. I thought the people in the village is strong and great because they help Alex and don't help the police men. I want to know why they hate policeman. I guessed the reason that police made a great mistake, so they couldn't believe them. Is Alex really a murderer? What is right and wrong? This book made me think about them.

BR3: A Tale of Two Cities

「a tale of two cities」の画像検索結果'Not Guilty,' the President said. He spoke to Darnay. 'You are free!' he said. (p. 46)

I read "A Tale of Two Cities". There are many people in the story, so I was hard to remember the human relations. The story is in 1775. London and Paris were fighting each other. So, English hated French. French hated English, too. Also, there were conflicts between aristocrat and poor men. Darnay was aristocrat, but he did not want to be a rich man and he did not take money from poor people. He is so kind. I read it, and I thought aristocrat was so insolent and liberty. However, they were not all bad.
